Welcome to the November edition of our RightCrowd President’s Corner!
Seasons greetings from the RightCrowd Team! Wherever you are in the world, may the best of the season be upon you.
The Company had increased its marketing efforts resulting in a solid start to Q2 with October and November seeing a lot of hot activity coming out of GSX 2022 in Atlanta. We have since closed another large deal with one of the top social media companies in the world, adding to our list of mega logos with a few more large enterprise deals set to close before Christmas.
Enterprise deals remain our strong suit and areas we lead the market in and will continue to be our focus moving forward. We have recently reset our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) which will help lead marketing, sales, and product activities across the remainder of F2023.
Also, across November we recently held a Quarterly business review with our largest customer. That review was the most positive and progressive review we have had in some time. After many team and structure changes internally at RightCrowd, both the projects and partnership with this customer have improved as we continue to build additional capability around product and project delivery, with the potential for significant further investment.
In respect to structure changes, there have been quite a few across the beginning of Q2. We have completely restructured the Professional Services team and placed directly under one leader, Lenora Thomas, VP Operations. This large team is now supported by a series of Directors and Managers operating under one unit. With the addition of new project managers in North America and promoted leaders in Australia, these changes are already having a significant impact in improved project delivery.
We continue to expand the North American team, the simple reason being most of our customers and revenue remain in North America but our resourcing remains heavily slanted to Australia and the Philippines. Balancing out the resource team will allow for better response times, as well as tighter customer collaboration and communication. We have launched our Canadian office taking space at the newly created Catalyst Commons shared space (Catalyst Commons Where Real Work Gets Done) located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, one of the largest tech hubs in North America.
One of the additions to the Canadian team is Dan Ireland taking on the role of VP Partners and Alliances. Dan has 25+ years of experience in the security industry with the bulk of that experience being in the Access Control and Identity Management industry. His industry experience and background in Partner management are a definite asset to the RightCrowd team. We expect to launch the new and revised Partner Program formally in January with a soft release coming in December. The new program will offer options for referral, reseller, and direct channel partners across our product lines.
It is essential we continue pressing with our public relations. As a company that has customers with the largest physical access control deployments in the world where RightCrowd plays a critical role in helping them manage access across their global facilities, we remain a hidden gem. If some of the world’s largest companies trust us, then the rest of the world’s companies should too, and as such we need to continue to build our market presence.
Work from Anywhere they say! So, there is a lot going on across RightCrowd these days as we continue to ramp up a new corporate structure, focus on closing the remaining large deals we have in the Q2 forecast, and a marketing strategy to build a strong remaining pipeline. All that is run by a group of strongly dedicated employees across Australia, the Philippines, Belgium, and North America.
I am always reachable for questions, comments, and discussions, so please feel free to contact me at any point if you would like more information on anything above.
For those celebrating the holiday season, I wish you a safe and happy holiday and all the best for the new year!!
